Generative AI is changing the world, from young people doing their homework with ChatGPT to new ways for citizen developers to generate apps, and the world of one-to-one marketing and engagement is no exception. Pega is going all in with generative AI and is launching over twenty GenAI powered 'boosters' in Pega 2023. In this community event Peter van der Putten, Director Pega AI Lab discusses generative AI in general, the magic trick behind systems like ChatGPT, and how you can potentially use its creative power across all personalization as a pathway to growth and profit. He also takes a deep dive into Pega GenAI, explaining the strategy, principles and architecture behind it, and showcase main use cases in 1:1 and beyond.

How can organizations confidently leverage AI technologies while safeguarding their customers'/firm sensitive data when using Pega GenAI. Is the data sent to an external ChatGPT system or is it in house models?, considering the significant data security challenges it may introduce, especially in the highly regulated banking and finance industry?

Q: What exactly should we setup in e.g. Report for parts of it to be recognized as a natural language? What will it look at: property names, property descriptions, column names in the report?
A: This is for ‘Explore Data’ and we specifically rely on the ‘property descriptions’ and the description of the class.
