Why pega defined final rule cannot be used in our custom rules set, if not why they given Save as option in Final rules.
I have a requirement where i need to use OOTP activity like Call pxConvertResultsToCSV this is available in pzExportRulesForRulesetVersion
it is final rule so tried to do save as this rule and changed the Naming convention kept in my ruleset version.
When runtime my activity rule is not picking then why pega provide Save as Option for Final rules.

Hi @Robinhood: I could see that the requirement you have is to override the final rule. This is not advisable.
Please look into this and this to know about final rules. Some rules are not meant to be changed which are marked as final. You can have final rules in your application layer too.
Regarding the save as option, I don't think this as a issue. You can copy the rule to have your own flavor with different name and you can use the new rule in your implementations using the new name so that the other places which refers the OOTB rule will not be impacted.
