JAR to be part of the Docker Image
Hi All,
I am trying to place a JAR file in Pega AWS server. However, our infrastructure team claimed that the JAR file has to be part of the image first which will be picked up while container is restarting. May I know if there is a documentation that helps in understanding on how to make the JAR file part of the image.

This document is the best practice to add a Jar file to the default or a customer codeset for a specified version of Pega Platform. From my understanding from an engineering SME, by importing the Jar file to the database, new containers get them for 'free' since they will be picked up by Pega's ClassLoader. I do not believe adding a Jar to the deployments' Pega Docker image is a good solution.

Hi, Yes you'll need to customize your Docker Image placing the Jar file Path and Rebuild the image to push the changes. Sample Docker file attached here for your reference to place the required Jar file and re-build the Image.
