Getting a record Count from a Data set of type Database table
Hi All,
Requirement: Populate a file with records from data base table.
We have created a data flow to load the file with records.
Data set (DB table) >> Data Transform(to set few static columns) >>Data set (file)
Question:
1) How to identify no of records fetched from Data Set 1 , we need this count in the Data transform to set one attribute.
Please let me know.

@TIRUMALA DEVI you can execute Data flow on the context of Runoptions page. Data flow rule name, class and all will be on Runoptions page. You can get the count from database and set it on Runoptions page and use that inside your DT.

@Anoop Krishna Do we need to fetch Record Count seperately and set it on Runoptions Page Instead of Using dataSet.

@jettn1 My thinking is data flow runs on the context of each record, but Runoptions page will be over data flow context. Else we can browse data set and then find the pxresults count. That way also we can do. I am getting these 2 approaches on my mind.
