Platform enhancement request - Pega alerts to include application name
Request: Pega Platform change for the PEGA alerts message (i.e. PEGA0099: Job Scheduler Failure) to include the application name so PDC can interpret.
This will allow for the Pega recommendation to segregate alerts based on application name within JDCXM environment to efficiently manage alerts, and ensure they are routed to the right group and acted upon in a timely manner. Deere has three primary application areas with 12 applications. These are supported by 5 different groups at this time.
Currently, PDC is not able to distinguish application-specific information from the information it receives from the logfiles. This has been brought up by other customers as well and the PDC team is looking into enhancing notifications to include application specific subscriptions. This platform change is required for the PDC team to complete change.

There is currently no way to do notifications at application level.
(a) Many of the events have no application context
(b) the logic for assessing notification frequency, threshold and duplication is driven by the event correlation (uniqueness); non-trivial to drive by both correlation and correlation/application.
Therefore this requirement cannot be seen as straight-forward to implement (which is why @RaghuramJ16633460 's suggestion of using reporting is sound).
PDC relies on application context data sent by the Platform. In many cases it is missing …. so on PDC side we will not be able to figure out which application is it from.

Right now if the application name is available, it is included in notification body.
