If you are a client-managed cloud or on-premises client, please review the Matrix of H22 remediations by Pega Platform version table below to determine which remediation (patch or hotfix) corresponds to your Pegasystems installation. Once you have determined the appropriate remediation, please follow the instructions below:
- For a Patch: please request the latest patch via MyPega.
- For a Hotfix: please submit hotfix requests using My Support Portal. As always, be sure you have appropriate backups in place before applying the hotfixes. Note that a system restart will be required for the hotfixes to take effect.
As always, we recommend our clients review the Pega Platform Security Checklist regularly.

Therefore, as outlined in the Bulletin please update to the 8.6.6 Patch which you can request on your My Pega My Software. A hotfix option is not available for your 8.6.5 Pega version.

It's a Minor Patch upgrade that we need to perform and it won't take much time, anyway. Hotfix option is not available from 8.6.5 version.

@LucíaB20 please could you find the email Bulletin that would have been sent to your Security Administrator?
The email will include the Matrix of H22 fixes - see details on which 8.6.x Patch to upgrade to.
ie you need to update to 8.6.6
- For a Patch: please request the latest patch via MyPega.

No. There's no hotfix for Pega 8.6.3 version. Hotfix available versions are listed in the below post by MarijeSchillern .

@Kishore Sanagapalli So, do you recommend us to update to 8.7 or this version is not necessary to update?

If you have any bugs which needs attention to fix but hotfix is notavailable, I'd recomend to proceed for upgrade. But, for 8.7.x versions and higher, it's evident that external kafka setup is mandatory since Stream node is deprecated. So first focus on the External Kafka setup for your application before getting ready for an upgrade to 8.7.x versions.
If there's no urgency to upgrade to 8.7.x versions but need some issues in the current version 8.6.3 to be addressed, I'd recommend you to perform the upgrade for 8.6.6 version for the time being and work on External Kakfa setup later.
