Calling a sub report from a multiselect source

Good Day, 

Wondering if its possible to call a sub-report as the source of a multiselect? I have a main report called crmOpportunitiesList which is the list source for the multiselect. I need the data source property to be from a subreport that is in crmOpportunitiesList. 

 

This is currently not working for. Is there a way to call a subreport in the data source for a multiselect?
