purging PegaRules log files
Hi, I am trying to update the prlog4j2.xml to purge the log files after a specified time period. Below are the sample settings in the XML file. I have tried many combinations in the defaultRollingOverStrategy tag settings, but have not succeeded. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, What do you mean by [purge the log files after a specified time period.]？ If you want to keep log files for only 7 days, please refer attached log4j setting.

Hi Liang,
Thank you for the response. you are correct. I just want to keep only the latest X days of files. As soon as the new rolling log file is created the oldest file beyond X should be deleted. I used the same settings as you have mentioned in the screenshot. My suspicion is that the "glob" setting is not matching with the file name using the file pattern. I have used "PegaRULES-*.log". I will try using the filename followed by a year as you mentioned in the response.
