Obj-Save or Save-Datapage ?
Hi All,
I have an activity which updates records in the database. The no. of records processed in one run is generally more(>1000). So, I am curious to know which method of saving data is better in terms of performance ?Which is faster?
Obj-Open & Obj-Save on a temporary clipboard page.
OR
Using a savable data page to update the record

@SnehasisP0085 When we are trying to save the list to DB using the savable Data page, we need to use the Activity to save the list, so either way we might need to use Obj-Save I think.
@pavan3753 I can loop through the list of records and map each record to a page type savable data page then use Save-DataPage method inside the loop to save each record one by one without using Obj-Save.
@pavan3753I think either of those approaches would have same impact in your case ,you can use any of the option .

@SnehasisP0085 - DataSet-Execute method is one option to store multiple records and it works faster comparatively.
