Logs point to an empty location after scheduled restart.

We have not made any changes to either prlogging.xml or prconfig.xml. Everything seemed to work normal before the scheduled restart. Post restart, the logs are not written ; shows an empty file. This is happening in DEV environment alone. Logging is fine in all other higher environments .
