Error while using IUA for upgrading to 6.3 SP1 from 6.2 Sp1

Hi , 

 

Currently I am involved in upgrading from 6.2 SP1 to 6.3 Sp1 version. 

I have prepared the DB Schema and Installed the 6.3 Sp1 ear in Websphere. Now Installation guide suggests to run Installation and Upgrade Assistant for loading the rulebase to DB - Which is nothing but PRPC_Setup.jar file. 

While executing that I am getting below error, 

Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\lib\tools.jar

This file is not present in this folder- Do we have to manully put this file in the above folder. 

Can anyone guide about the above error ? 

 

Please not I am running this file from Local machine.

 Looks like there is an initial problem in that the JRE being used is not a JDK and the tools.jar file is missing

Please download and install the JDK and point to that for the installation. As an example of a JDK install: Using JRE_HOME: "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_24"
