How to create Rest Service with invoking Auth Token?
Hi,
I have a requirement to establishing the REST service for client with OAuth 2.0. I have created the OAuth 2.0 Client Registration rule with Client credential grant type and enabled Authentication type to OAuth 2.0 in the service package.
While working with Postman under Authorization tab to get the Access Token, I am getting an error. (Please find the attachment) .
Please note that the service is working fine without Authentication.
As well I am attaching the supporting rules I have created for the same. Kindly please help me.

@NidhiSinha , I think the issue is in the URL you use to get the token. You need to use the .../oauth2/v1/token end point to get the token and then access your service passing the token you got. It is a 2 step call. First get the token then call the service with the token.

@NidhiSinhawhen using OAuth, you first get the token and then call the service with the obtained token as authentication. I believe you are trying to call the service you created directly. You'll need to call first the Platform service to get the token and then pass the token in the second call to the service you created.

@Angel Hermira , I am doing the same, i.e 1st creating the token but while creating the token I am getting an error message in POSTMAN :
Error: write EPROTO 1158398456:error:100000f7:SSL routines:OPENSSL_internal:WRONG_VERSION_NUMBER:../../third_party/boringssl/src/ssl/tls_record.cc:242:
Due this error I am not able to move further. I have tried in SOAP UI as well but I am getting the error while creating token. Kindly find the attachment in my post for error screenshots.

@NidhiSinha What settings are you using on your client registration? see below what I just used to get the token back using Postman
