Integration with ECM like ImageRight using REST APIs

Hello There!

Has anyone of you configured an ECM for document storage using REST APIs? CMIS option provides the ATOM/SOAP server options to configure the CMS. Is there a way to integrate with ImageRight (ECM) using rest APIs to store the documents.
