Report creation per role

Hi, all

I am required to clarify the differences of report category between user and developer creation.

I need to know what kind of report end-user who has user access right can create or developer who has dev access right can create.

I try to find out the differences, but is there any material which shows these information?

e.g.) users can create report about assignment by report browser.

Hi Yuki,

In general any report involving sub reports or declare index joins or class joins need a developer to configure it. Because the rule needs to be checked out, changes made and developer also needs to ensure that they do not add any guardrail violations or introduce any performance impacts.  

In contrast the report which business users configure do not need them to check out the report definition and make changes. They will simply drag and drop columns from the available fields and prepare the report
