Can Pega handle table lock?
Hi,
I understand Pega has its own lock mechanism. This question is not Pega level locking but database level locking. If I understand correctly, Pega automatically does record level locking, but can we use table level locking if we want to? If yes, can someone show how exactly we can do that?

I might be wrong but I don't think we have table locking mechanism Out-Of-The-Box. Why would you need table locking? What is your scenario?

Customer wants it, just like table lock is sometimes preferred for some people. They want the entire table to be locked in advance before administrator starts editing. Is there a way to implement it by custom coding? If so, how?

@CloeW938 Hi Cloe, Just a thought we can introduce custom rule or custom where we can lock and unlock tables. we have Lock Table option in SQL level, only thing is table should have LOCK Table privilege for it.
