Lock on Data Table
How do apply lock to a data table? if the configuration is to be made on the class level how do i specify the lock on the class?

Hi Yogesh,
Yes, locking at class level needs to be configured, there is an option to allow locking on the instances in the class record.
When locking is enabled, and one user is trying to edit the values in data type. The other user will see an error saying lock is held by another.

On the class instance in the Locking tab you can select "Allow Locking" checkbox

However my question is something else.
Imagine i have a data table in my application and i m trying to make changes to the data table.. and there is another user who wants to make the changes to the same table at the same time.. how do i acquire lock on the data table so that while i m making any changes to the data table changes by other users should not override my changes? is it something i can configure at class level? what should be the locking mechanism in this case and how do i configure it?
