How to build a practice application from start to finish

I am a Pega CSA, and I would like to get some practical experience building an application from scratch in Pega 8.4.  I have not been able to find any tutorials or walkthroughs to help me do this.  Pega Academy has not been useful for this, since everything is broken up into individual challenges/modules.

Does anyone have some recommendations where I might find something like this?
