Migrating rules/data from Oracle to SQL Server

Hi

We are planning to upgrade from 7.3.1 to 8.4.1 and move from oracle to Azure MS SQL Server database. Its a monolithic environment where multiple apps living in the server and we want to migrate only two out of all apps available

I believe from rules perspective, we can RAP and all the applicable rulesets after a skim. Is that okay?

How do we handle data? Any conversion needed and any feature which MS SQL Server does not support needs to be aware of? Any other pain points?

I am finding multiple posts on this topic but not convincing answers. Anyone experienced this before, it will be helpful if you share some thoughts on this.

You can prepare the lower environment using the application RAP certainly.

If production data is huge then you will have difficulty with OOTB application package wizard.

You need to find the commercial /freeware tool that convert oracle to MS SQL Server.
