Unable to Automate IE document editor

Hi All,

 

I am not able to Copy and paste word document data into document editor (inbuilt) in IE, and not able to change the Chinese Characters text format to SimSun_9Pt in document editor. When I interrogate the control, It is created as generic Control. hance i am not able to select one by one Chinese Characters and change the text format as SimSun_9Pt. Attached the screenshot of document editior.

For controls that are generic, that generally means they are written with a technology that Pega Robotics does not have translators for (code written to communicate with a given control type). In this case, you may need to use SendKeys to manipulate a control. You might also be able to use screen OCR, however I am not sure how well that works with other languages, as my experience has been limited to mostly English or similar languages.
