Is IBM MQ version7.0.4.0 compatible with Pega platform 8.3 ?
Hi All,
We are currently using IBM MQ Proprietary information hidden tool in Pega 6.1 SP2. However we will upgrade Pega 6.1 Pega 8.3. Could you please let us know which version IBM MQ is supported in Pega 8.3?

Hi ,
As per the platform guide below, it is IBM WebSphere 8.5.5 for PRPC version 8.3.

In addition to the above question, can someone please help me find the IBM MQ versions that are compatible with both Pega 6.1 SP2 and Pega 8.3 versions? Is there any document that I can refer to?

What is your use case? MQ Connector? If that is the case, you should follow IBM java client links. Pega does not normally test specific IBM MQ versions for a platform release.

Hi Kevin,
Currently, the MQ resides in the same application server (Websphere). Now, the client is planning to decommission IBM Websphere to move to Apache Tomcat and also upgrade Pega from 6.1 SP2 to 8.3 and therefore the need to move MQ. I have sent out additional details to your inbox.
