Pega Operator ID -Password encryption customisation

Dear Team,

Pega uses oneway MD5 hash algorithm to encrypt the passwords in the operator profile , Could you suggest an approach on customizing this algorithm.

Thanks Pawan...this gives an insight on this topic.Seeking some more additional info on Pega provided options to change the hash algorithm used for the password encryption. We have a requirement to change MD5 as Hash algorithm.
