Pega-Chat configuration: Passwords encryption in config files
Pega Chat application configuration files accepts passwords for the account in plain text ONLY. We understand that it was the limitation when we implemnted pega chat 7.4 in 2018. However, this practice is in non-compliance with our company standards. With recent interaction with PO, we understand that password encryption is supported now for 7.4 version. Please let us know what encryption methods are supported and please provide examples and/or documentation.

Hi Brad, I handled the case with Bhanu, and per the Chat team setting the isEncryptionEnabled flag to true in config.json will encrypt all saved passwords in 7.4.
