Lack of Rate Limiting Controls in Pega API services

Hi Pega Community,

The Pega Platform API lacks sufficient rate limiting controls. We need to limit the number of API call requests to prevent denial of service etc. How to implement these kinds of prevention in Pega Platform?

We are looking to hear from the forum.

Good question, one approach is to consider rate limiting at the load balancer level, e.g., https://devcentral.f5.com/s/articles/where-you-rate-limit-apis-matters-21384

Could be an enhancement request for the future as I believe Pega needs to make some changes to recognize certain rate limiting http headers, as noted in the link above.
