Scheduled report functionality is sending same attachment to all operator ids

Hi,

We have come across an issue with implementation of report scheduling functionality. Following are the details -

  • We have created a report which accepts operator id as input and produce results based on operator country access.
  • Report is scheduled and multiple operator ids are added on scheduling UI.
  • All users get the same report based on access of schedule creator operator id access. This behavior is not correct as operators are able to see unauthorized data because of this.

We are using pxRequestor.pyUserIdentifier in report joins to filer the data based on user access.

Can anyone please help and let me know how to fix this.

I don't think there is a simple way of achieving what you are attempting. A scheduled report will only produce one instance of the report, and what you are asking for is a separate instance for each recipient. These are technically all different reports. My understanding is that the report will be run as the requestor of the operator who scheduled the report, so that would be the report instance you would get.

Is the number of recipients large? How feasible would it be for you to schedule a separate report for each recipient?

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the reply. We have to enable this functionality for business users and they are free to add any number of recipient. Can you suggest any approach to implement this functionality.
