Reporting on Custom Security Events - Pega 7.3.1
Hi,
Greetings. We are on Pega 7.3.1, and have implemented custom security events which are written to PegaRULES-SecurityEvent.log, is there a way in this version of Pega to generate reports of these events within Pega?

If you create a report to review the history as described above, this should pick up the events.

Thanks Brad, but i am writing Custom Security events using this as reference (https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v731/procomhelpmain.htm#security/auditing/sec-add-custom-sec-event-log-tsk.htm), not the security audits, my custom events are written to PegaRULES-SecurityEvent.log file

From the link you provided, it appears it is only writing this in the log file: However, you can define custom security events that are specific for your application in order to monitor them in the logs.

Sure, I have implemented custom events but client wants to know if there is a possibility to have this as a report implemented within Pega, given that we are on 7.3.1

Hi,
There is nothing OOTB that provides this reporting. The custom events are written to the log. You could have a tool/custom code outside of Pega scan the logs for the event type and report on that.
