Multiple Browsers and Sessions Causing Hanging
We have Users who open multiple browsers and sessions of applications, one using an iPad. Sometimes the application will hang on various screens. We have provided information on the suggested approach of logging into one application and use our Application Switching function to 'jump' to another application, and the best practice of always logging off when done. We have been asked if we could programmatically kill unneeded, or abandoned requestor sessions. We have explained that while technically we could detect another session when logging into a new session, we do not know if the User is still in the existing session, or as already closed it, and we could end up causing more confusion. We are looking for suggestions.

I feel there are too many unknowns here. While multiple sessions should be avoided, if these are independent applications I do not think you should be facing this sort of problem.
Have you been able to identify/outline a specific setup or sequence that causes the scenario to hang?
