Scheduling robots from Robot Manager 6 and changing workgroups
Hi,
We've got Pega Platform 7.4 with Robot Manager 6.1. We are very interested in taking advantage of changing the workgroups of the robots but We have found a point not resolved yet. Supposing we've got a robot that can works in 2 workgroups [WG1 (default one) and WG2] we are trying the following:
- Start the robot at 9 a.m (for example) for default workgroup WG1 (which is in commonconfig.xml)
- Change the workgroup at 11 a.m (for example) for WG2
- Stop robot at 12 a.m
We want to know how to configure all these steps from Robot Manager. Modifying "pyGetCandidateWorkGroupListByDispatchOperator" the workgroups are visible when scheduling from RM but I don't know how to start the robot with default workgroup WG1 from scheduling of RM.

Hi Héctor,
first, make sure you run at least Build 8.0 SP1 8.0.2019.0. As per the below article it is required to support new functionality in Pega Robot Manager version 6.

I have not checked it locally yet, but as per my understanding, the default workgroup will be handled by the Otherwise action.
If that does not help with finding your answer then please share more details about your attempted solution.

I'll try to explain in other way. According to the attached screenshot "ChangeOfWG", how can I start the machine with default workgroup "Área: Gestión del Talento" from scheduling of Robot Manager?

as per requirement 12PM to 9AM your bot will be in stop state (Added that as first action in above image, "Savings Accounts" is my default workgroup)
From 9AM to 11AM it will run by default in default workgroup, there is no special action required for this
From 11AM to 12PM you want to run the bot in different work group(Credit Cards is my second workgoup.
Try adding actions as mentioned for your requirement.

Hi,
Trying this suggestion I have noticed that the schedule after submiting has nothing to do when opening to review it. I mean, I configure the schedule like "Before.png" image and when I open schedule to review it I see the scheduling like "After.png".
Why don't the times remain?

NOTE for users who may face the same issue:
During our investigation with Héctor we identified that the problem seems to be in the timezone of the operator that schedules the robots. The workaround is to set the timezone to "America/New_York". Engineering Team will work on the proper fix.
