Need to Add/update Operator details during login
Hi,
I have a unique requirement like, I need to add some user specific details to OperatorID page in pxRequestor page of clipboard during the operator login. These details are unique to that user so I am thinking to add these details to Operator and these details needs to be referenced by some of HTML fragments.
The details will be sent in the form of HTTP header. Here, can I use any existing un-used property of operator?
Can any one please suggest, how can I meet this requirement?

I think it depends on your login mechanism and version of the product. Can you trace your user login and check for the right placeholder?

Hi,
I am going to assume you are using some flavor of custom authentication since you need to get user data from HTTP Headers.
You can add properties in your own application ruleset to Data-Admin-Operator-ID class. That way your property names can have names based on what they are storing. When you view the operator record from the developer portal you wont be able to see these property values unless you view XML.
The key to this is that the properties have to be defined in a RuleSet that is available unauthenticated browser requestors and authenticated users.
