How to update the operator details with the method inside activity ?
Hi,
I have customized the harness to add the bulk user section to it. From the bulk user section i am calling the createbulkoperators activity which in turn is calling the createoperator OOTB activity but somehow my parameters are not passing to it. i have to adhere to the local parameters mentioned inside the activity like orgName,divName,unitName,password,accessgroup etc.
Now which method shall i call to update the already created operator id ?

Hi Rohit,
If you see that already operator is available open that operator and update what fields you want to update and save the that operator page.

obj-browse is for browsing but based on what criteria ?

If you have bulk operators that needs to be updated then you can write a custom activity with below logic:
- Browse operators (may be specific to workgroup or as per your requirement)
- Open an operator
- Update specific fields on operator page using property set (Like - access group etc.)
- Save Operator page
You can start with this logic and later you customize it based on your requirements.

for updating the fields inside the operator (like email, phone number etc.) which activity needs to be used ?
obj-save for saving the activity.

As per your questions, provided few inputs. You can explore below points and see if this helps.
1) CreateOperator is for creating the operator
You mentioned that you want to update existing operators then why you want to use CreateOperator activity which create new operator.
2) obj-browse is for browsing but based on what criteria. can i do that based on the operator id (user identifier)?
No, if you utilized user Identifier then you will get only one result. If I understood your requirement then you need to update operators in bulk. I will say you need to identify common criteria to fetch operator data, these criteria will be based on your functionality but few fields that you can use are - workgroup, org/div/unit etc. Check your operator table (PR_OPERATORS) to find a right criteria..
3) Obj-open is for opening the operator id
Yes, but you can also use Obj-Open-By-Handle and pass PZINSKEY
