Why app in Virtual machine is not same as in video?
Hi,
I'm taking the "System Architect Essential Pega 8" course and found something that did not make sense. In the video, the instructor is teaching using the HR apps but the virtual machine that you guys are providing has a gogoroad app. Can someone please explain this?

It seems I misunderstood the original post. The videos in the self study course use the HR Apps application for illustrative purposes. Then, the application you build in the exercises - using the VM - is a different application. This is by design so you can transfer the conceptual knowledge you gained in the video to practical application; if you are just copying the steps in the video, it is difficult to confirm what you learned.

It seems the instructor is using the wrong training app. The HR Apps training app was built for Pega 7.1 through 7.3 and was never validated to work in Pega 8.
If the instructor is teaching the System Architect Essentials 8 course, they should be using the GoGo Road training application.
