Character Count Check in Rich Text Editor
Hi Team
I have a requirement where user wants to see the reduction in character count while entering text in Rich Text Editor . This should happen during the progress of entering text in Rich Text Editor , not after user enters text in RTE and move out of the field . Please suggest some work around for this requirement requirement.

@Srinivas21- To be more specific , we are expecting a feature similar to Text Area , the above link given by you doesn't mention the way it can be achieved, please provide some other links if available.

The character count feature is not available OOTB for RTE control. The way to limit the character length is through the property.
But I think this functionality can be achieved through JS code. I found this link online.

Hi ,
You can try this . it's just a workaround
include the Rich Text Editor in a section
on action add an event "Any Key " -- > Refresh sec and call a Data Transform and use the function to the length of the string . And calculate the no. of characters remaining and store that in a property. and show that on UI
