Capture Exception Message
Hi ,
How can i capture the highlighted exception message . This message is only in row 175 , after that it is replaced by PRRuntime Exception .

You are wanting to get at the problematic JSON I take it, not the error message itself.
Perhaps try:
System -> Operations -> Logs
-> Logging level settings -> Rule_Obj_Activity.Invoke.Rule_Connect_REST.Action
-> Error level = All

Hi Lee,
I need to capture the error message itself , not the JSON . If i can capture that message then i can send the same to the calling application , saying that the JSON is invalid , this is one of the example . If we can capture that meesage , then handling would be simpler i believe .

Hi Lee ,
The function @getWorstMessage(tools) retunrs the string "PRRuntimeException" which is at row 25 in below screen , but i am trying to capture the exception message at row 24 which has the string "cannot parse json , invalid JSON provided" (highlighted in below screen) .

According to Engine API, getWorstMessage = return tools.getActivityStatus().getWorstMessage();
tools.getActivityStatus() = Interface ProcessingStatus
Interface ProcessingStatus has a method called backoutWorst()
Perhaps try that then call getWorstMessage() again.
Just a guess...
