weekly scheduled report is not working

Hi Team,

We have requirement to send the report via email on every monday of week by 9 am. I have configured below Designer Studio-> Reporting-> Component-> scheduled tasks

issue : Report is sent only at first occurence(only first week) after which it is not sending

Please let me know if there is any issue with the configuration. If no, Please advise what could be done here.

Hello Ponnurangam,

Can you please modify the "End" configurations and check?

Currently the configuration is to "end scheduling after one occurrence." due to which it is stopping after sending first time I believe.

Try and let us know your observations.

Hi,

I have selected 'No end date' out of 3 Radio button options.

  • No end date: Select this radio button to run the report indefinitely.
  • End after: Specify an integer for how many times to run the report.
  • End by: Specify the end date for running the report. The report runs based on the schedule you set until this date.

as per above statements, report should be sent on weekly basis which was not the case.

Hi Ponnurangam,

 

Please check the below things:

1. In the scheduled tasks in Reporting Component if the next scheduled run is showing the correct value or not. 

2. Check if the System-Queue-ScheduledTask instance has been created for the next run or not.

Hi Vikash,

Thanks for your response.my below answers

1. its showing the next schedule as the correct value - but the problem is first schedule is completed , it was not showing any other upcoming schedules

what i have changed is as below

earlier i have chosen 'no end date' radio button, now i have chosen 'endafter how many occurences'

2. Only for future schedule, it will create instance in System-queue-scheduledtask. If yes, instance is created. But again, i will have to see this after 1st schedule run
