Is it possible to save the case data while user is navigating away from the case using the navigation elements in the Portal in case manager.

for example in Pega Designer studio when user opens a rule and try to close it pega will alert user with a modal message You are about to discard your unsaved changes.so in this case pega is ensuring user to save the changes but is it possible to achieve this by saving workpage when going away in the portal .

like i opened a case C-1 and i modified some data on it now if i try to open a calendar in the same portal my case data will be lost untill user do a save explicitly,so is it possible to do without asking user an explicit save.
