Current request processing node in pega
Hi,
Could anyone please confirm that the pySystemNodeID always denotes the node that processes the current request url that is invoked.That means, can we say, if a service rest call is made from soapUI then that request url is processed on the node available in pxProcess.pySystemNodeID property.
Please confirm.

I am not sure what your goal is here. A service call can be directed at any node behind the webserver/load balancer. A client should not worry which node actually processes the request. Can you elaborate your context?

Thanks for your reply. I agree on what you have said. But as part of my requirement, I need to capture the request processing node name each time a request has been sent from soapUI. With respect to this, I would like to confirm if pySystemNodeID always contain the node name of current processing request each time the request is invoked.

Hi,
If you launch clipboard and select "Standard" thread ,under System Pages-->pxProcess(Code-Pega-Process),There are two properties pxSystemNode and pxSystemNodeID.You can capture these properties whenever you hit a SOAP call.Please find the screenshot below
