How to read excel file attached to work objects and parse the rows to create cases

Hi,
I have a requirement where users attach excel files to work object.

I have to read these excel files line by line and create cases for each row in the excel sheet.

how can I read the files attached to work objects and iterate through each row. Anyone can give some ideas? I am sure definitely it is possible to read the files attached to work objects. we are using Pega 7.3.1
