BUG Pega 7.3.1 : Not able to sort a grid which refers to a reference page list property

Hi

Sorting over a column in a grid is not working when i refer a page list property which uses a "Refer to a datapage" setting.

There's no issue with the display of the data in the grid. The sorting over the columns is not working at all when i use the Refer setting.

When i have changed it to Copy the sorting is working

This is an existing limitation in the product. The grid is dependent on the source page to provide the sorting but when referring to a page, the sort APIs do not work. I'm not sure what is limiting us from addressing this change. Will take it up with platform engine layer to see if it can be addressed appropriately. There is no known solution from the grid itself
