Calendar Picker's month spinner does not allow to traverse backwards in Pega 7.3

We have recently upgraded to 7.3 from 6.2.

Post upgrade date picker control's spinner navigation feature is not allowing to traverse backwards i.e Say month chosen is january and year is 2019 , if i click the back arrow, i expect month should change to december and year to 2019 ..but control does not allow me to choose back...i need to navigate all the way from jan ->feb->....to reach december .Appreciate your comments.

Presentation mode is Auto.

Pega team has replied on my SR stating that the issue i have stated is the default behavior in 7.3 .

But looks like it works fine in ur 7.3 application .can you please confirm once so that i can reply back on the SR
