What is the highest Oracle version supported?

Dear Support team,

Currently we are running 3 different Pega platform version: 8.1.1, 7.3.1 and 7.2. on tomcat 8.5 and with the underlying Oracle 12.1 version.

But we would like to move first to the ExaData with the Oracle 12.2 and later want to use the 18c and 19.

Our question is: Are these Oracle version supported by the Pega 8.1.1, 7.3.1 and 7.2?

Hello Marc,

Thanks for you answer but the information the support guide was not very specific. I mean the Pega version/ Oracle version matrix in my case is the following:

 

Pega 7.2

Pega 7.3.1

Pega 8.1

PRPC has been successfully deployed in Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster) configurations, and Pegasystems supports this deployment mode. Future product plans may broaden RAC support to leverage the Oracle Clusterware High Availability API and to publish scalability benchmark data

and Versions we support currently

 - Proprietary information hidden
 - Proprietary information hidden -> Oracle Database 12.2 Release 1

Version we support as of mid March

 - 18.5  -> is new naming for Proprietary information hidden -> Oracle Database 12.2 Release 2

Version we support as of mid October
 - 19.1  -> is new naming for Proprietary information hidden -> Oracle Database 12.2 Release 3

Hi,

We do support oracle 12CR1 and 12CR2. I don't think we have any update of the newer version of Oracle.

So you can use 12CR1 or 12CR2.
