MSOGenerateExcelFile Activity creates Flat file
I am using MSOGenerateExcelFile activity to generate an excel from a Pagelist. The file that gets downloaded is a flat file. No extensions. The data is fine. If I add .xlsx at the end of the file name, it converts to Excel sheet and data can be seen.
I want to directly generate an excel file. Am I missing anything?

I missed "FileName" with extension in params.

The file has been configured correctly. Template uploaded in binary file.
Params passed-
FSFileName: "MyReport"
TemplateRFB: "excel!reportTemplate!xlsx"
Download: true
Still it creates a Flat file. I am using pega 7.2.2, SDI framework.

You must have the filename with extension in order to create the excel file. As you mentioned at the beginning of your post, configure the filename with "xlsx" extension.
