How to reflect default value in text input to the value.
We set String value or property to the default value in text input.
However, it isn't reflected in the value.
We cannot understand why the value isn't reflected.

Hi,
I checked the same in UI gallery and able to see the default value.
Please tell me the version of Pega and also try to check once in UI gallery.

DId you check the UI gallery , is it working there ?
If UI gallery sample works, open the rule "pxUIGalleryTextInput"
and check the configuration.
IF it still does not work, check if this happens on all browsers or for particular browser alone

This functionality in PEGA is not working as expected. It works good if you hard cord the value here but if you use a property reference it will not work. Try to use an alternative approach like using a Pre-Data Transform to set the value you require as default.
