How to remove 'URL" attachment type from Add Attachment control?
On the OOTB case section (Pega 7.3.1) you have an add attachment section. When clicking on the 'Add attachment' link a submenu with two attachment types open (File and URL). See also screenshot.
How can you disable the URL attachment type from this menu?
On my case setting I have added 'File" as the only attachment category and on the corresponding attachment category rule I've only selected file attachment type.

You need to modify "pyAddAttachmentMenu" belonging to "Work-" class. Please refer to screen shots.

Go to Record Explorer -> Process -> Attachment category
Open URL attachment category , save as to your ruleset/class and Set the when condition to Never
let us know if it works

Hi,
If you don't want to use URL itself, you can try using OOTB control "pxUploadfile".
you can also set the visibility of "URL" to Never in "pyAddAttachmentMenu".

Hi Rachit,
In pyAddAttachmentMenu you have an item list and it's not easy to distinguish between URL item and File menu item. See screenshot. I tried using a when rule for visibility of the menu items, but can't find the right identifier for the URL menu item. Any idea?
