Hi Mudit,
There will be a difference in Data representation in the Ui, If you are using a control which is directly inherited from property, then based on picklist display as option it will display the list items as Radio buttons or Dropdown control.
And while choosing between Dropdown or Radio buttons, you need to consider the spaces which is going to be occupied by radio buttons, as all the list option will be displayed on the UI with label next to it. Now if you have large no of list items, it might occupy huge space as need to display all the option.
In the other side if you choose Display as dropdown, it will let the user select the data by expanding the dropdown, irrespective of number of list items dropdown width and height remains same.

Hi,
For selecting multiple options use a checkbox control while you want to select only one option out of given number of option use a radio button control which is a best practice.

Hi,
As per the Pega UI specialist course, it is suggested to use radio buttons when there are less than or equal o 5 options. If there is more, we should go for drop down.
