Defer load on a Layout - Print Issue

Hi All,

I have a PrintView Harness which is customized for Printing of a WorkItem .

The Harness consists of Layouts, few of them have Deferload option enabled. When printing the Layouts for which the deferload is enabled, a "Loading..." message is getting displayed on the print output.

The "Loading..." does not go.

Any idea why its coming and howto resolve this issue. Is there any CSS tweak available.

Please do not suggest to remove the deferload option. Its a business requirement. But if you are sure that the defer load is not meant for Printing and does not work at all for Print function then please provide the reason why?

Hi Vivek,

I have replicated the similar scenario having layouts with "Defer load contents" enabled in PrintView Harness but did not observe the "Loading.." message as in your case. Data from the layout is printing successfully and is shown perfectly fine in print preview also.

 

You can check the print output attached.

I have replicated in Pega 7.2.2 version, So can you let us know the Pega version in which you are trying and also more about the Layout configuration.

Ahh. My mistake. I forgot mention the Pega version. We are using 7.3.1. We recently upgraded it from 7.2.2 where it was working as expected.
