I'm not sure I completely follow. You want the value of a javascript variable to be passed up to the clipboard so that the PegaPlatform can use it? Can you just create a property and have a (presumably hidden) input field that you update using JS, as the variable's value changes? If this isn't what you are talking about doing, please add a bit more clarification around the problem you are trying to solve.
