DB2 to Oracle Rules compatibility
Hi,
We are migrating our Database from DB2 to Oracle. The RAP from DB2 has been imported into Oracle and we have no issues.
What I would like to know is if the Code(rules) are backward compatible to DB2, i.e if rules created in Oracle would work just the same way when moved to DB2.
It makes sense that rules if can be moved from DB2 to Oracle, should also work when moved from Oracle to DB2, but I would like to have it confirmed by the experts.
Note: The PRPC version remains the same in both Databases (v7.1.6)

I would agree with my colleague Nick, database product doesn't have any impact on rules working or the RAP of application. They both are same, Pega converts the rules into JAVA class file and stores them as BLOB object in the database. Thus have no impact on migrating or switching database product.
