What is default Database in Pega 5.5 and 6.2 version ? What is best GUI tool to access DB in Pega 5.5 and 6.2 version?
Hi Support team and Community,
We are currently working with Pega 5.5 and 6.2 versions. Just stuck at one glitch in our development.
What is the default Database in Pega 5.5 and Pega 6.2V?. As in PDN indicates from PEGA 7 onwards default database is PostgreSQL comes with installation Package.please check attachment. please let us know? What GUI tool is best for access and updating db in Pega 5.5 and 6.2? What are default credentials to access db in Pega 5.5 and 6.2. (username/password/host/portnumber).

For all the personal edition by default database used as PostgreSQL however whenever it comes to the licensed version of any PEGA database
You can choose any database and application sever of your choice as per your requirement .

Personal Edition comes with Postgres, however the full version of the Pega Platform will not come with a database. If you're asking what the 5.5 and 6.2 versions of Personal Edition come with for a database... I'm not sure.
For the full versions of Pega, there is no 'default' database. 5.5 and 6.2 support Oracle, DB2 and SQLServer per the platform support guide: https://docs-previous.pega.com/platform-support-guide-prpc-5x-and-6x
As far as GUI tool, I'm not sure which works best. If any particular tool works with the database in use, then it should work fine.
The credentials for the full product are not set by us, you create them prior to install. If you're asking about personal edition, let us know.
