Do you mean to reopen the WO?
If yes you can use reopen activity. Reopen activity in Work- it will take care of reopening the workobject and also the OOTB reopen flow(pyReopenToStage) shows up an assignment to choose which Stage you want to re-enter to.

Thank you for the response. I dont want to reopen, it should display with status open and also want to do in bulk like ~500 to 1000 work objects.

For this I think there is no OOTB way, but you can write an activity to do property set on pyStatusLabel. I think you need to iterate on all the instances.
But remember changing just the status or changing the stage will not actually reopen the WO.

You can refer Reopen button in pyCaseTools section how Pega OOTB is reopening the case and this code can be utilized in you utility.
