Pega 7 and Pega robotics
I have 3 questions
1. How to setup Robotics Manager monitor a database and trigger the automation when there is a new record inserted. Any link or document would be appreciated.
2. Similar to above is there a way to let robot monitor when a case is created and trigger the automation? I mean is there anyway other than the Robotic Webinar: Integrating Pega and RDA
3. This is a stupid question but I would like to know if it is possible to let Pega robotics running web application behind user's back, not launching the browser so user can see what's going on.

1. You'll need to contact Services.
2. Use the created event.
3. You can run IE minimized and prevent the user from maximizing it, or set the hide property to true, and set the adapter's UnmatchonHidden property to false.

Thanks for your answer. I still have a question regarding last question, How to prevent the user from maximizing the window? Also I don't see the UnmatchonHidden / Hide property in the adapter's property list. Thanks for your help!

For item 1, there is plenty of documentation in the PDN regarding Robot Manager. You'll need to have a Pega Platform instance already created and someone with knowledge and access to it.
For item 2, you would need to use the Robot Manager and have the case creation trigger a robotic activity and have your robot responding to that activity (the ActivityStarted event).
For item 3, you can also use a Windows form with a TabbedReparentContainer control on it. This allows you to place an application inside the control. Then you can hide this UI. The easiest way to do it is as grona mentioned and simply set the HideApplicationAtRuntime property to True. If you do this, make sure that you do not have any controls where you have changed the UnmatchOnHidden value from its default.
