Unable to add an existing DB column to data type
Hi All,
I am unable to add a column in the data type though all the records are deleted. Not sure why this is happening. I remember the newly added column reflects in the data type once I add it on click of "Edit Columns" option. Wondering if this is a Pega bug.
I am using Pega 7.2.2 Can somebody help me fix this? PFA doc for the design screenshots.

Do you mean to say ,after you have added a new property from edit columns , its not updated?
did you check DataTableEditorReport report?

Hi Giridhar,
If you add a new property in the Data type from Data model tab then it will be available in the Data type but it wont be shown in the Records tab, which is an expected behavior.
If you add a new property in the Records tab > Actions > Edit Columns then the property will be visible in Records tab as well as in the Data model tab. So to add the new property into your Data type you can use the Records tab > Actions > Edit Columns.
Same behavior i had been noticed in my local environment for v7.2.2.

Yes, as suggested by Vinaykumar review the DataTableEditorReport Report of the data table class. If the property is not visible as column then try adding it in the report. This will lead to the column to be shown on the DataTable.
